Job Type
- Travel/Contract
- Night shift, 3x12 hours
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Schedule
- Every other weekend
- May float within scope to other campuses and ED observation
- Block scheduling may be accommodated
- On-call is not required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Connecticut
- ED - Emergency Department (1.5 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
Preferred Experience
- 2 years of experience preferred
Additional Notes
- First-time travelers are not accepted
- Pending license is accepted
- RTO greater than 7 days requires approval
- Assigned to one campus, with possible rotation to other campuses and ED observation
