Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Indianapolis, Indiana
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: Monday–Friday, 4x10 hours, 10:45–21:15
• Call requirement: 40–60 hours of call in a 6-week schedule
• First-time travelers accepted
• Locals not accepted
• Charge pay offered
• Average census: 70–80
• Unit has 24 beds
• Special equipment: DaVinci XI

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Indiana
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Operating Room experience within the last year
• 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Circulate experience in the Operating Room
• General surgery experience in the Operating Room
• Orthopedic Surgery experience
• Robotics (DaVinci) experience in the Operating Room
• GYN surgery experience in the Operating Room
• Thoracic Surgery experience
• Oral surgery experience in the Operating Room
• Whipple procedure experience
• Liver resection experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Charge nurse experience in the Operating Room

Compliance and onboarding

• References: minimum of 2 from recent employment, verified within 2 years of start
• Employment application must be current and include work history; any gap of 30 days or more must be explained
• Skills checklist required within 12 months of start and annually
• Background check required
• Education verification required
• Transcript or diploma required
• Physical exam required within 12 months of start
• Fit test required within 12 months of start
• Negative TB or chest X-ray required within 1 year of start
• TB questionnaire required
• Drug screen required within 12 months of start
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required
• Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation required
• Hepatitis B series, titer, or signed declination required
• Tdap preferred, but not required
