Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Louisiana
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Oncology (2 years of experience)
Oncology experience within the last year
Surgical Oncology experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Experience with Epic
Competency exam completed within 1 year of start and scored at least 80%
Skills checklist
Resume/application
Current valid government photo ID
Employment history covering 7 years, if applicable, with explanation for gaps

Preferred Qualifications

Unit Details

Hematology, medical oncology, bone marrow transplant, gynecologic oncology, and surgical oncology patient population
7-bed positive pressure wing for BMT and acute leukemia patients
Bedside CVC placements and bone marrow biopsies

Additional Assignment Notes

Traveler may be assigned to an emergency team during an emergency event and may be expected to remain at the facility until the event passes or serve on the relief team
Candidate should be comfortable with emergency-event assignment expectations before accepting the contract
