Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation
- NRP
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum experience
Preferred Qualifications
- STABLE certification
Unit Details
- Level II NICU
- 8 private rooms
- Float requirement: transition nurse in LDRP
- Patient population includes infants over 32 weeks gestation, ventilation under 24 hours, and weight cutoff of 1500 grams
- Self-scheduling available
Additional Notes
- Background check required within 30 days of start
- Negative drug screen required within 30 days prior to start
- Fit testing required prior to start
- Physical exam required within 1 year of start and updated annually
- Minimum of 2 positive professional references required
- Dated skills checklist required
