Overview

• Travel/Contract RN role in Bel Air, Maryland
• 18-week contract
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Holidays required as scheduled
• Floating required within the specialty to lower-acuity areas as needed
• On-call not required

Unit Details

• 3W Cardiac Tele
• Adult patient population
• Average daily census: 25
• 22 rooms / 30 beds
• Telemetry patients with primary or secondary cardiac diagnoses, primary stroke/TIA, and stable cardiac Cath patients
• Remote telemetry monitoring via Hicuity System
• Specialty drips include Cardizem (non-titratable), Amiodarone, Heparin, Protonix, and Lasix
• Special equipment includes Zebra portable phones, Alaris IV pumps, and Coviden Feeding Pump
• Scrub color: Navy Blue

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maryland
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 1 year of telemetry experience
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association
• NIHSS

• Must complete required facility documents and screenings before start
• Must sign unit-specific job description prior to start
• Must review EKG education module and attestation prior to start
• Must complete annual or time-sensitive compliance items as assigned by the facility
