Job Description

• Orientation: Bi-Weekly Orientation
• Shifts: 7 PM - 7 AM, 3 shifts per week (Monday to Friday)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend or 2 per month
• Patient Ratio: 1:5
• Float Requirement: Yes

Required Skills

• Medical-Surgical/Telemetry
• Cardiac Telemetry

Certifications Required

• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• EKG testing (must pass before start date)

Additional Information

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• EMR System: Cerner Med system: Omnicell
• Time Off Policy: Travelers requesting time off during holidays will not be accommodated.

Health and Safety Requirements

• Physical Exam: Must be completed within 45 days of start.
• TB Test: Proof of a negative TB test within a year of start.
• Vaccinations:

  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella (Chickenpox)
  • Flu Vaccine (required for specific start dates)
  • COVID-19 Vaccination (two doses required)

Background Check and References

• Background Check: Must be completed within 45 days of start.
• References: Two supervisory references required, completed within the last 3 years.
