<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Days, 5x8hrs</li><li>Hours: 40 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Nov 2, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 2</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring an experienced Home Health RN with OASIS and HCHB proficiency to provide skilled nursing care to geriatric patients in a home health setting.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Home Health setting serving an adult geriatric patient population</li><li>Caseload averages 5-7 patients per day</li><li>Monday through Friday schedule with one weekend required every 4 weeks</li><li>Minimum of 30 points required weekly</li><li>On-call rotation may be required</li><li>Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the office hub, with flexibility expected</li><li>All charting must be completed by 9am the following morning</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active WA or compact RN license required, must be in hand prior to consideration</li><li>Current BLS certification</li><li>Minimum of 1 year of recent relevant Home Health experience required</li><li>OASIS experience required for staff completing Start of Care (SOC) assessments</li><li>Proficiency in HCHB (Homecare Homebase) EMR required</li><li>Active driver's license and personal transportation required</li><li>Skills in wound care, medication administration and management, pain assessment, IV and subcutaneous administration, and phlebotomy</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Responsibilities include admission assessments, recertification, resumption of care, routine visits, and start of care documentation</li><li>Provide integumentary and wound care, medication management, and infection control precautions</li><li>Timely communication and documentation practices are mandatory</li><li>iPad provided for charting and documentation</li><li>Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate</li><li>Scrubs of any color required, no jeans permitted; no cell phone use</li><li>First-time travelers will not be considered for this position</li><li>Former permanent employees must be separated for a minimum of 6 months and approved by HR before returning as a traveler</li><li>Travel pairs accepted, but each traveler is assigned their own territory and must have personal transportation</li><li>Local candidates accepted at the travel rate</li><li>RTO must be submitted at the time of application</li></ul>
