Gynecologic Oncology RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Spokane, Washington
- Outpatient clinic setting
- Day shift: 5x8, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- 40 hours per week
- Start date: ASAP
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Role can be true travel or temp to perm
Role Focus
- Triage for medication reactions, possible concerning surgical outcomes, symptoms of potential recurrence, and related concerns
- Pre/post operative education and assessment
- Supporting patients through their treatment course safely
- Work is split about 50% in the OR and 50% in clinic
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Clinic experience within the last year
- 2 years of clinic experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart&Stroke
- SICU - Surgical Intensive Care experience
- OR - Operating Room experience
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
- Oncology experience
- OB/GYN experience
Preferred
- Gynecology experience
- Surgical experience
- Experience with voiding trials
- Experience with central line flushes / port flushes
Schedule
- Weekends not required
- Call not required
Additional Notes
- Locals accepted
- RTO must be included at time of submittal
- Clinic sees about 30–40 patients daily
- Nurse visits generally do not exceed 3–6 daily
