Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Tech
Location: Lexington, Kentucky
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Job Description
- Must have a Radiologic Technologist License in Kentucky through ARRT before start (pending license acceptable at submission).
- Level 1 experience preferred.
- Certifications required before start: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS (PALS not needed at submission but must be obtained before start).
- EKG onboarding exam required.
- Work schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM).
- Call requirements:
- 1 late call per week (5:30 PM - 7:30 PM)
- 1 call shift per week (5:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
- 1-2 call weekends per 6-week schedule (Friday 5:30 PM - Monday 7:00 AM)
- Preferred experience with Philips Single and Bi-Plane Angiography.
- Required experience with Epic EHR and McKesson systems.
- Local travelers within 75 miles are not accepted.
Required Experience

- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, or PA
- Fit mask test within 1 year, updated annually
- Immunizations and health screenings:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray (within 1 year, renewed annually)
- Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella (positive titer or vaccinations)
- Hepatitis B (positive titer, series, or declination)
- Varicella (positive titer or vaccinations)
- Seasonal Flu vaccination/documentation (required annually, exemptions accepted)
- COVID vaccination series or medical/religious exemption required; booster preferred but not required
- Drug testing within 1 year of start, updated annually (specific panels required)
Documentation and Verification
- Two professional references verified within 6 months of start (manager or supervisor preferred)
- Employment application with explanation for any gaps over 30 days
- Employment verification for last 7 years, completed 8 business days prior to start
- Skills checklists updated annually and valid through contract duration
- Various facility-specific documents and policies must be reviewed and signed prior to start
