Job Opportunity: Pediatric Telemetry Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Columbus, Ohio
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Provide nursing care on a pediatric cardiac stepdown unit.
• Patient diagnoses include cardiac defects (medical and surgical).
• Care involves managing tracheostomies, ventilators, high flow nasal cannula, post-operative catheterizations, post-CTICU care, inotropes, and heart and lung transplant patients.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio.
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric cardiac stepdown nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
• Experience working with pediatric patients.
• Experience in charge nurse roles.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

• Candidates with Ohio driver’s licenses residing within 60 miles of the facility are considered local and may not qualify as travelers.

• Temporary IDs or driver’s licenses are not acceptable for compliance.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
