Role Focus

Adult orthopedic and neurological caseload
About 50% aquatic therapy

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide aquatic-based physical therapy for orthopedic, neurological, and functional rehabilitation needs
Deliver aquatic therapy sessions to support mobility, strength, and recovery
Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Educate patients and families on exercises, injury prevention, and wellness strategies
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Required Qualifications

Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent degree
Valid Physical Therapist license in Alaska
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred Experience

Experience or interest in aquatic therapy strongly preferred

Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children and families
Ability to create engaging therapy sessions while maintaining therapeutic goals
