MRI Tech Travel/Contract Position

Location: Newberg, Oregon
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Facility & Work Environment

• Short Term Acute Care / Level IV Trauma Center
• 60 staffed beds
• Charting system: Epic
• Parking: No fee
• Scrub color: Any color or business casual
• Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
• Weekend work required (can be part of shift)
• No on-call or block schedules required
• Expected patient ratio: 1:1
• Will not float between units
• Must have prior experience working on GE 1.5T MRI machines

Required Qualifications

• Valid MRI Technologist license in Oregon
• Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience
• MRI Technologist experience within the last year

Competencies & Exams

• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
• Competency exams required by specialty/profession
• Color blindness testing may be required on a unit basis (80% passing score)

Facility & Regional Requirements

• Must complete annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS (Workramp) unless exempted (e.g., MRI Techs exempt from some specialty modules)
• Badge photo required (passport style with neutral background)
• May be required to complete Epic training modules depending on facility assignment
• Float policy acknowledgment required (may be asked to float to nearby facilities)

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
