Cath Lab Tech

Overview

Travel/contract assignment in Dayton, Ohio
13 weeks
Day shift: 7:00–17:00, 4x10 hours
1 mandatory call shift per week and every fourth weekend
Fast-paced, high-acuity cath lab
Level 3 cath lab
2 EP labs and 5 cath labs
About 20 patients per day across all labs
Performs advanced practice cardiac cath and peripheral angiography, electrophysiologic studies, therapeutic interventional procedures, and cardiac device implantation procedures
Provides peri-procedural care and education, assists with diagnostic and interventional procedures, and maintains procedure records/documentation

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Ohio
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
RCIS or ARRT
Experience with transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR)
Experience with the Watchman device
Experience with MitraClip
Experience with electrophysiologic studies, EP mapping and ablation
Experience with Epic
