Neuro ICU Registered Nurse

Job Overview

• Location: Camden, New Jersey
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Hours per week: 36
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Schedule notes: Block scheduling is not allowed; every other weekend and every other holiday required

Unit / Assignment Details

• Float between ICU and PCU
• May be required to float within five hospitals in the skillset

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS

Screening / Compliance

• Dysrhythmia test must be passed within 72 hours of signing, with two attempts allowed
• Government-issued photo ID required
• Proof of E-Verify or attestation required
• Background check required
• NURSYS verification required
• Primary source license verification required
• Physical exam within the last 12 months required
• Fit testing required within the first week of the assignment
• Negative TB screening required within 1 year of start
• TB questionnaire required annually
• Drug screen required within 6 months of start
• Latex questionnaire required
• Eye exam with visual acuity of 20/40 or better required
• Two professional references required
• Employment application required
• Skills checklist required and updated annually

• Epic experience preferred
• First-time traveler accepted, but not preferred
