Overview

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Washington
• Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
• Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
• Critical care experience within the last 12 months
• Adult trauma and burns experience
• Tracheostomy patient care experience
• Spinal cord injury patient experience
• Complex sleep disordered breathing experience
• Ventilator management experience
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• Pediatric experience

Unit / Patient Population

• Patient populations include BPICU, SICU, MICU, and NSICU
• The unit sees patients of all ages, with a small pediatric population
• The facility has a busy ED with ECLS transfers

Facility Notes

• Magnet, teaching, Level I trauma center
• 500 staffed beds
• Epic charting

Additional Requirements

• Background check and state/federal screening requirements apply
• Fit test required within 12 months of start
• Tdap required within 10 years of start
• TB screening required before start
