Job Overview

Location: Knoxville, Tennessee
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 3x12 hours
Hours per week: 36
Auto offer: Yes
Orientation: Bi-weekly

Unit / Assignment Details

Float to Med-Surg/Telemetry, Stepdown/PCU, and possibly ICU based on skills and need
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:7
Weekend requirement: every other weekend or 2 weekends per month

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Telemetry experience within the last year
1 year of telemetry experience
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Must be able to pass EKG testing before the start date
Unit-specific skills checklist within the last year
2 supervisory references completed within the last 3 years
7-year work history with no gaps over 30 days without explanation

Additional Requirements

NIH Stroke Certification can be obtained after offer
Must be open to floating as assigned
Holiday time off requests during listed holiday periods will not be accommodated

Core Part I, II, and III competency exams
