Job Overview

Shift: Nights, 3x12s, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
On-call: Not required
Floating: Required within scope to meet facility needs, including floating between like units/sister facilities
Patient ratio: 1:4

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
Stepdown experience
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred Qualifications

NIHSS

Schedule Notes

First-time travelers are accepted if they have prior ICU and/or Stepdown experience
Block scheduling may be requested before assignment, but is not guaranteed
Local candidates are not accepted
All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application and is subject to facility needs
The facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Additional Considerations

Travelers should be aware they may be assigned to emergency response duties during hurricane season, which runs from June through November
