MRI Technologist I

Location

• Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Contract

• 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour shifts
• Friday, Saturday, Sunday schedule
• No on-call

Role Summary

• Entry-level MRI technologist role providing specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services under immediate to general supervision and mentorship.
• Supports patient care across inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic/urgent care, and remote statewide outreach clinic settings.

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist experience.
• CT Technologist experience within the last year, including 1 year of CT Technologist experience.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients.

Skills and Experience

• Ability to apply cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology principles, medical imaging, medical terminology, patient positioning, and medical ethics.
• Ability to work on a team, follow instructions, communicate professionally, maintain accurate records, and work accurately with names, numbers, and codes.
• Ability to handle confidential information, multitask, remain calm under stress, work with minimal supervision, and pay close attention to detail.
• Core knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology, plus the terminology and techniques associated with the primary specialty.
