Overview

• Location: Lafayette, Colorado
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Tues-Fri 1100-2030
• On call: rotating call and assigned holidays
• Hours per week: 36

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
• ARRT (CT)
• CT Technologist with 1 year of experience
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• Experience in a hospital setting
• Experience with CT equipment operation
• Experience with CT imaging techniques and protocols
• Experience with contrast administration protocols and contrast injector operation
• Experience with IV contrast injection
• Experience with electronic imaging, including the ability to view, transfer, and manipulate images

Preferred Qualifications

• Radiation badge provided by supplier preferred
• Certified Computed Tomography Technologist - American Registry of Radiography Technologists ARRT (R)(CT)
• Fluoroscopy certification for caregivers hired in this role in the State of Colorado
• 1-2 years of work experience in CT experience in a hospital setting

Role Summary

• CT Tech performs CT procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.
• The role requires maintaining ARRT competency, operating CT equipment and related information systems, administering contrast media per protocol, and supporting patient care, image quality, radiation safety, and infection control.
