Job Summary

Provide nursing care in a hospital setting to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex under general supervision.
Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients.
Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments.
Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
Obtain and monitor physiological data; intervene as necessary.
Administer medications and regulate intravenous infusions and blood products.
Deliver competent patient care.
Communicate care plans with patients and families during hospital stay and at discharge.
Make referrals regarding patient care needs.
Delegate tasks to support staff.

Required Qualifications

Experience

Minimum 1 year of recent NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience

Education

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Licenses & Certifications

Valid RN license in Oklahoma
BLS (American Heart Association)
NRP (American Heart Association)
