Interventional Radiology Technician - Travel Position

Location: Newburgh, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 4x10-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 40 hours guaranteed

Job Overview

• Full-time resource required on-site with a 40-mile radius rule (no local candidates)
• On-call 1-2 nights per week, including 2 weekends in a 6-week rotation
• Weekend call coverage from Friday 5 PM CST to Monday 6:30 AM CST
• Rotates through upcoming holidays on assigned team
• Approximately 12-15 cases per day between Cath Lab and EP

Required Qualifications

• Indiana state license
• ARRT certification
• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience (preferred Cath Lab experience)
• Experience with EPIC/CUPID charting systems and GE MacLab/CardioLab equipment

Required Skills & Procedures

• Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, including:

  • PTCA/Stent
  • Complex PCI (Shockwave IVL, Rotapro Atherectomy, CSI Atherectomy, kissing balloon approach)
  • IABP, Impella CP support
  • IVUS (Philips), iFR/FFR measurements
  • Device implants: PPM, ICD, Bi-V, leadless pacemakers
• Vascular procedures (low volume/low priority): EKOS Thrombolysis, INARI Thrombectomy
• Neurovascular diagnostic/interventional procedures (low to medium volume; low priority)
• Preferred: Structural Heart experience with PFO/ASD and LAAO procedures (TAVR experience beneficial but not required)

Work Environment & Team

• 2 Radiologic Technologists in Cath Lab, 2 full-time and 1 part-time RT in EP
• 16 RNs between Cath Lab and EP
• Fast-paced environment requiring resilience, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills

Additional Information

• COVID-19 vaccine not required (subject to change)
• Guaranteed hours except during holidays when the unit is closed
• 30-minute response time required when on call
