CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Location: Martinsburg, West Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Work setting: Radiology department performing CT imaging for both adult and pediatric patients (Interventional Radiology only adults)
Shifts: 12-hour day shifts, alternating Monday-Wednesday and Wednesday-Friday
Hours per week: 36 hours
Typical shift times: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM and 8:30 AM – 9:00 PM
Weekend/Holiday work: Not required
Call: No call required
Scrub color: Black scrubs required
Radiologist coverage: In-house 7 AM – 7 PM; on-call 7 PM – 7 AM
IV skills: Must be able to start IVs
Orientation: Floor-specific orientation required, generally up to 2 weeks (longer for US/MRI modalities)
Imaging equipment: Canon, Toshiba, Fuji Synapse
EMR system: EPIC

Required Qualifications

Certified CT Technologist credential (ARRT CT preferred)
BLS certification (AHA)
Valid West Virginia license for CT Technologist
Radiation badge: Must be provided by the agency (not provided by facility)
Must have a valid driver’s license with an address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility

Additional Notes

Only one submission allowed at a time across the entire system
Previous permanent candidates must have been off for 2 years before reapplying
Previous travelers must have been off for 2 years after completing a full year at this facility
Background checks must be disclosed at time of submission
Travel teams must be submitted together in one email
Maximum of two candidates submitted per opening; additional submissions held until a spot opens
