Registered Nurse – Cath Lab (IR Department)

Location: Morgantown, West Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide nursing care in the Interventional Radiology (IR) department, covering both Electrophysiology (EP) and Cath Lab areas.
• Scheduled for 4 shifts per week, each 10 hours long (either 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM).
• Holiday and call coverage required.

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

Additional Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license with an address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Previous permanent candidates must have been off the payroll for at least 2 years to be eligible.
• Previous travelers must have completed at least 1 full year at the facility and been off for 2 years before reapplying.
• Individual unit requirements may apply.
• Travel teams must be submitted together.
• Only 2 candidates can be submitted per opening; submissions may be held if the position is full.
• All submissions must include an unexpired copy of the candidate’s driver’s license.

Work Schedule

• Day shift only.
• 40 hours per week, with 4 shifts of 10 hours each.

Experience

• No explicit years of experience stated; however, ACLS certification and IR/Cath Lab nursing experience are implied prerequisites.
