Required Qualifications

Active RN license
BLS certification
Acute inpatient or hospital experience
Strong de-escalation and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

CPI certification
Adolescent experience

Unit Details

Psychiatric inpatient unit with 25 licensed beds
Serves adolescents and adults
Common patient diagnoses include depression, anxiety, substance use, psychosis, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and other behavioral or personality disorders
Locked unit
Mechanical restraints and seclusion are used rarely
Very rare IVs
Telemetry monitoring is not used

Schedule

Self-scheduling based on seniority
Every other weekend
Every other holiday

Orientation

2 unit-specific orientation shifts

Floating

May float throughout the hospital as helping hands or 1:1 support

Dress Code

Any color except maroon
Business casual allowed

Additional Notes

First-time travelers are accepted
Candidates should be comfortable assisting with patient rounds and being actively involved in care
RTO must be submitted upfront and is limited to 7 or fewer days for the contract
