Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Technologist
Location: Fargo, North Dakota
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with neuro scrub/interventional radiology experience to assist in neuro angiograms and interventions. The role involves scrubbing for a variety of neuro and vascular procedures, with some preferred experience in cardiac and electrophysiology cases.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years working in CVT, RN, or R.T. (R) role with scrubbing experience in neuro interventions.
- Certifications/Licenses:
- BLS (AHA) required
- RCIS or ARRT (R) required
- NDMIRT certification required or willingness to apply within 24 hours of offer acceptance
- RN license if applicable
- Skills:
- Proficient with neuro interventions such as thrombectomy, coiling, stents, embolizations, and other listed procedures
- Knowledge of sterile technique and diagnostic radiographic principles preferred
- Familiarity with EPIC, Radiant, CUPID, GE MAC Lab/Cardio Lab systems preferred

- Thrombectomy (stroke)
- Coiling's
- Carotid stents
- Pipeline embolization
- EVD placement
- Spinal angiography
- Lumbar puncture/drain
- Diagnostic cerebral angiogram
- MMA/AVM/Fistula embolization
- Rhizotomy
- Epistaxis embolization
- Left/right heart catheterizations and PCI (preferred)
- Pericardiocentesis (preferred)
- Intra-aortic balloon pump/Impella insertion/removal (preferred)
- Peripheral vascular interventions (preferred)
- Electrophysiology device insertion/removal (preferred)
- PFO/ASD closure (preferred)
- Electrophysiology ablations (preferred)
Work Schedule
- 4-10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday
- Call rotation every 3rd to 4th weekend
- One night of call per week
- Call team consists of 3 people; candidate will not be on call alone
Orientation & Training
- Orientation tailored to candidate’s experience level
- 1-2 days with assigned mentor
Additional Information
- No floating to other units/departments
- Unit has 8 cath lab rooms and 1 procedure room
