Job Summary

The Registered Nurse is a key member of the patient care team responsible for delivering direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process. Responsibilities include:

Assessing patients upon admission using interview techniques to gather medical history, current status, vital signs, lab work, x-rays, and other diagnostic tests.
Participating in the planning and implementation of written care plans under physician direction.

Requirements

Education & Licensure

Bachelor's degree required
Valid State of New Hampshire RN license or Compact License
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required

Experience

Minimum 3 years of nursing experience preferred
Strong experience in Medical-Surgical (MS) and Telemetry (Tele) units

Skills

Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Additional Information

Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid
Employer reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract
