Travel Physical Therapist (PT) Opportunity

Location: Selma, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel

Job Description

Physical Therapists (PTs) diagnose and treat individuals of all ages who have medical problems or health-related conditions limiting their mobility and functional activities. Responsibilities include:

Evaluating and conducting medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs
Developing treatment plans to promote movement, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability
Providing education on injury prevention, ergonomics, restorative and rehabilitation therapy
Supervising physical therapy assistants and aides
Working in both inpatient and outpatient clinic settings

Requirements

Must hold a valid Alabama Physical Therapist (PT) license
Minimum of 2 years recent PT experience, hospital experience preferred
BLS certification through the American Heart Association
Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, no weekends

Contract Length

13 weeks

Additional Information

Position involves both inpatient and outpatient care
State licensure required for practice
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
