Unit Details

• Number of Beds: 26
• Patient Ratios: 1:6 or team nursing 1:9
• Staffing: Charge nurse, unit secretary on days, 2 PCTs
• Equipment: Alaris IV pumps
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Scheduling: Every other weekend required
• Floating Policy: May float to other Med Surg units
• Patient Experience Requirements: Hourly purposeful rounds, AIDET, mandatory bedside shift report

Certifications Required

• BLS
• ACLS
