Skills and Experience

Must Have Skills/Experience:
- General procedures (angiography, angioplasty, arterial line insertion, coronary angioplasty, CTO, intra-aortic balloon, Impella, intravascular ultrasound, pan table, stent placement, thrombolysis, venography, wave wire)
- Hemodynamic & other calculations
- Right & left heart catheterization
- Structural heart procedures
- Vascular interventional (contrast administration, emergency procedures, peripheral, thoracic, PE)
- EP studies
Common Diagnosis/Treatment: STEMI, NSTEMI, Heart disease
Personality Fit: Mutual respect

Cons

I have never worked anywhere that runs like this facility. They have very limited resources in the upper peninsula. The staffing is always short. The nurses normally do a lot of tech work daily very unorganized difficult to complete tasks because of the way the unit is run. The people are great, but I don’t see any improvement here for a very long time
