Shift Information
- Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
- Call Expectation:
- Average of 5-6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift per month
- On-call is required
Unit Information
- Unit: Operating Room
- Number of Beds: 11 ORs
- Staffing:
- Day Shift: Average of 8 RNs, 8 Scrub Techs, and 5 Surgical Support Techs
- Night Shift: One Charge RN and one Scrub Tech in-house with call team backup
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- Type of Equipment: Variety of OR beds and equipment
- EMR: Epic
Required Qualifications
- Licensure: Alaska RN license
- Certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a circulator
- Experience as a scrub
- CNOR certification
Typical Procedures Performed
- Total Joints
- Multi-level spine fusions
- Variety of Xi Robotic cases (GYN, Colorectal, General)
