Shift Information

• Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
• Staffing Ratios:

  • When not staffed with LPN teams: 1 RN to 6-7 patients
  • When staffed as LPN team model: 1 nurse to 5-6 patients

Staff Composition

• Day Shift:

  • 1 Charge Nurse
  • Up to 6 Nurses (mix of RNs and LPNs)
  • Up to 3 Patient Care Technicians (Nursing Assistants)
  • 1 Unit Clerk
• Night Shift:

  • 1 Charge Nurse
  • Up to 6 Nurses (mix of RNs and LPNs)
  • Up to 3 Patient Care Technicians (Nursing Assistants)

Equipment and Technology

• Typical acute care inpatient unit
• Equipment may include wound vacs, NG tubes, chest tubes
• EMR System: Meditech

Candidate Requirements

Must-Have Skills:

• RNs and LPNs with experience in:

  • Pre- and post-op inpatient care
  • Wound care
  • Managing central lines (PICC, port, CVC)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with general surgeries (hernia repair, colon resection, thyroidectomy, complex wound procedures)
