Patient ratios: 1:1, 1:2
Common procedures: Vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, C-hyst
Floating areas: MFMU/MOMB/NICU
Weekend/on-call: Not required; available upon approval

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
ACLS
AWHONN
BLS
NRP
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
Experience working with High Risk patients
Experience working with Neonate patients
Immediate newborn care experience

Preferred Experience

High-risk experience
Immediate newborn care
Circulating experience

Unit Environment

Staffing on day shift: Charge nurse, PCT, CST, RN
Staffing on night shift: Charge nurse, PCT, CST, RN
Equipment: Baxter pumps, Phillips electronic fetal monitoring
EMR: Cerner, Fetal ink
