Overview

Travel RN role in Los Alamos, New Mexico
Rapid response need; candidates must be able to start 7-10 days from offer acceptance
1 opening
40 hours per week
6-week contract

Unit / Setting

3rd floor
3-bed unit
Shared position with Preop; no expectation to float elsewhere
Primarily adult patients; ENT cases once a month

Shift / Schedule

Days with some call on nights and weekends
On-call coverage on weekends
Must be able to be at work within 30 minutes once notified of a case

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Mexico
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
PALS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preoperative experience

Preferred Qualifications

Preop and PACU experience

Additional Clinical Details

Common cases/treatments include appy and gallbladder
Patient ratio is 1:1 or 1:2
EHR: CQI, Medhost

Dress Code

Open-toed shoes and fake fingernails are not allowed
