Progressive Care RN

Overview

  • Role: Progressive Care RN
  • Employment type: Travel
  • Location: Tomball, Texas
  • Unit: Progressive Care
  • Schedule: 36 hours per week
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Unit Details

  • Beds: 34
  • Staffing: 1 charge, 6 RN, and 2 CNA on both day and night shifts
  • Patient ratio: 1:4
  • Floating: MED/SURG
  • Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per schedule
  • Dress code: Royal Blue

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Texas
  • PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
  • PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • NIHSS
  • Registered Nurse License
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of non titratable drips such as amiodarone and Cardizem
  • Tracheostomy experience
