Work Schedule

• Night shift: 7 PM to 7 AM
• 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Every other weekend required
• No call responsibilities
• Float requirements apply (may work across different units)

Unit and Patient Population

• Behavioral Health unit with 104 beds across five units (adult, pediatric, geriatric)
• Patient ratios approximately 1:8 (lower ratios for pediatric and geriatric patients)
• Patient populations include adults, pediatrics (ages 5-17), and geriatrics
• Common diagnoses: schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use disorder, anxiety

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation)
• Develop nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians, nursing supervisors/managers, and coworkers
• Participate in discharge planning

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Minimum 1 year of Behavioral Health nursing experience within the last year
• Experience in an inpatient Behavioral Health setting
• BLS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
