Registered Nurse (RN) - Home Health

Location: Saco, Maine
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

• Specialty: Home Health
• Shift: Primarily 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours (every other weekend rotation with a weekday off, or permanent schedules based on agency needs)
• Call: No overnight call; callback required 2-4 times per month between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM if needed
• Patient Load: Manage 20-25 patients with an expectation of 6 visits per day; may be reassigned as needed during contract
• EMR System: EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maine
• Minimum 2 years of Home Health nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• BLS certification
• Experience with Epic and OASIS documentation systems
• Experience in a Home Health setting

Work Environment & Equipment

• Assigned agency laptop, iPhone, nursing supply bin, nursing bag with vital signs equipment, INR machine, and agency bag (all must be returned at contract end)
• Dress code: Business casual or scrubs (any color); no jeans, open-toed shoes, or clothing with holes
