Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Position

Location: Kennewick, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Work in a 14-bed Medical ICU on the 2nd floor.
• Patient population primarily includes sepsis, respiratory, some cardiac, and trauma cases.
• Patient ratio is 1:2, CN free of patients.
• Equipment occasionally includes IABP.
• Electronic Health Record system used: Paragon.
• Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
• Weekend hours: every other weekend.
• No call requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington.
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU).
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and Washington Suicide Prevention.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Additional Information

• Located in southeastern Washington serving the Tri-Cities area (Kennewick, Pasco, Richland).
• Facility is a teaching hospital with 111 beds offering a variety of services including ED, Family Medicine, Ortho/Joint replacements, OBGYN, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Urgent Care, Lab, and Diagnostic Imaging.
• The area offers recreational opportunities including golf courses, parks, and is part of Washington Wine Country.
• Travel distance requirement: must be greater than 60 miles from the facility to qualify as travel.

• Multiple dates available from January through December (specific dates provided by employer).
