Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
- Certifications required at submission (not provided onsite):
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI)
- NIH Certification
Additional Requirements
- Must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as a traveler
- New Mexico state fingerprinting and background check required before hire:
- Fingerprint check must be in process prior to start
- Travelers may begin work on a 14-day waiver period while awaiting results but must be supervised during this time
- Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
