CT Tech - Radiology (Travel Position)
Location: Denver, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Information
- Unit: CT Scan, 3rd Floor, Main Hospital
- Equipment:
- GE Revolution 512 scanner
- GE Evolution 128 scanner
- GE 64 slice scanner (Outpatient)
- New 128 GE Frontier scanner (installed 10/5/20)
- Staff: 13 total (8 full-time, 1 part-time, 3 PRN, 1 transporter)
- Shifts:
- Day: 1 charge, 4 day techs, 2 mid-shift techs, 1 transporter (Monday-Friday)
- Night: 2 techs
- EMR System: Meditech
- Facility Designations: Comprehensive Stroke Center of Excellence, Level 1 Trauma Center
- Location Highlights: Close to Denver University, downtown Denver, and nearby mountains for year-round outdoor activities
Typical Procedures
- Stroke, trauma, head and chest imaging
- Abdomen/pelvis scans and CT angiography (CTA)
Required Qualifications
- CT Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- ARRT (R) Certification
- BLS Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with trauma and stroke imaging
- IV skills
