CT Tech - Radiology (Travel Position)

Location: Denver, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

• Unit: CT Scan, 3rd Floor, Main Hospital
• Equipment:

  • GE Revolution 512 scanner
  • GE Evolution 128 scanner
  • GE 64 slice scanner (Outpatient)
  • New 128 GE Frontier scanner (installed 10/5/20)
• Staff: 13 total (8 full-time, 1 part-time, 3 PRN, 1 transporter)
• Shifts:

  • Day: 1 charge, 4 day techs, 2 mid-shift techs, 1 transporter (Monday-Friday)
  • Night: 2 techs
• EMR System: Meditech
• Facility Designations: Comprehensive Stroke Center of Excellence, Level 1 Trauma Center
• Location Highlights: Close to Denver University, downtown Denver, and nearby mountains for year-round outdoor activities

Typical Procedures

• Stroke, trauma, head and chest imaging
• Abdomen/pelvis scans and CT angiography (CTA)

Required Qualifications

• CT Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• ARRT (R) Certification
• BLS Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with trauma and stroke imaging
• IV skills
