Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Assignment

Location: Wichita, Kansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Unit Information

• Acute care Occupational Therapy unit with approximately 250 active consults daily
• Staff includes 30 total headcount with 17.29 full-time equivalents
• OTR to COTA ratio is 2:1
• Typical patient load: 8-10 patients assigned per OTR per day
• Equipment: General acute care durable medical equipment (DME)
• Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Kansas
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, including experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• OTR (Occupational Therapist Registered) certification
• De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with trauma patients
• Comprehensive stroke care experience
