X-ray Technician

Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (8-hour evening shift)
Contract Length: 6 weeks


Job Description

  • Work primarily in the Emergency Department (ED), inpatient units, and perform portable X-rays.
  • Must be willing to learn pediatric and neonatal imaging.
  • Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment.
  • Evaluate images for technical quality.
  • Use EMR systems including EPIC and Sectra.
  • Work with equipment brands such as GE, Phillips, and CareStream.
  • Assigned to a specific department daily but expected to float as needed.
  • Responsible for working with students and performing competency check-offs.
  • Mask fit required.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year experience at a Level 1 trauma center OR 2-3 years experience at a large bed Level 2 trauma facility.
  • Graduation from a JRCERT/ARRT approved radiologic technology program.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • ARRT certification.
