Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Salem, Oregon
Employment Type: Travel/Contract

Job Description

  • Outpatient focus CT Technologist position
  • Must have outpatient experience and IV skills
  • Experience with GE and Toshiba/Canon machines; GE experience preferred for open shifts
  • Performs diagnostic quality procedures in a safe manner following ARRT guidelines in Computerized Tomography

Education & Licensure Requirements

  • Graduate from an imaging technology program approved by licensing bodies
  • Must be licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) in radiography (pending okay)
  • Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography
  • Must be licensed in CT by OBMI OR registered in CT by ARRT
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required within 90 days of hire

Required Experience

  • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology

    • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella (titers or vaccines)
    • Hepatitis B (titer, vaccine series, or declination)
    • Varicella (titer or vaccines)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start (not required for CT techs)
  • Fit mask testing required onsite within first week of start (exceptions apply)
  • Background checks including criminal, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, and education verification as applicable

Additional Requirements

  • Clear copy of driver's license or passport/state ID required
  • Education verification required for non-licensed providers (not applicable here)
  • References: 2 references within last 2 years showing 1 year in comparable specialty, at least one supervisory within last 12 months
  • Badge photo with white background required at least 8 days prior to start
  • Completion of required HealthStream modules by due date
