Medical Surgical RN

Overview

  • Location: Fishersville, Virginia
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Shift: Day, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Schedule: Every other weekend; holiday rotation applies
  • Ratio: 1:6
  • Contract length: 26 weeks
  • Unit: 2 West – Medical Innovation Unit, a 32-bed medical/surgical unit

Role Details

  • This position will float at times to cover staffing needs.
  • First day includes drug screening at Employee Health; first shift starts on Tuesday.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Virginia
  • Med Surg (2 years of experience)
  • Med Surg experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
