Overview

Travel/contract role in Bel Air, Maryland
13-week assignment
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maryland
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS
PALS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience

Schedule

Sundays and Fridays required
No Saturdays
Holidays required as scheduled
Floating may be required within PACU, ICU/critical care, and to sister hospitals as needed
Pre-scheduled on-call shifts are not required, though low-census on-call status may occur rarely

Additional Notes

RTO must be submitted at time of offer
Holiday requests are limited to no more than 1 major and 1 minor fall/winter holiday
Start date: 09/28/26

Pros

IMC Ratio 1:3, traveler friendly (many have renewed for at least a year), decent crew of staff

Cons

Unit is disorganized; you spend much of the day walking back and forth for simple supplies that should be more conveniently located. Huddle time is way too long and frequently leaves you getting out super late by the time report is over. Also the patient population in that area is a little trashy.
