Overview

• Location: Southlake, Texas
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Hours per week: 36

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic

Schedule Requirements

• On-call required
• Holidays required

Additional Hiring Requirements

• Valid government-issued photo ID or passport
• E-Verify or attestation
• Background check
• EPLS/GSA/SAM screening
• HHS/OIG screening
• 2 professional references within 3 years of hire

Health and Compliance Requirements

• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Fit test during orientation, updated annually
• Tdap
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• Hepatitis B documentation or declination
• Varicella, measles, mumps, and rubella immunity documentation
• Drug screen within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season

Testing and Training

• Pass/fail competency testing required
• Medication/pharmacology exam required
• Dysrhythmia/EKG exam required
• Study guides and some exams must be completed within 30 days of start
