Schedule

Evening shift, 5x8 hours
15:00–23:00
40 hours per week

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Louisiana
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
One completed travel assignment
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Call / Holiday Expectations

Call every 3rd weekend, usually scheduled on a volunteer basis
Call hours are 7a–7p or 7p–7a
Holidays are part of the call schedule

Work Conditions

Patient ratio: 1:2, with possible overflow up to 1:4
Scrub color: royal blue
May be assigned to an Emergency Team during emergency events and expected to remain at the facility or serve on the relief team as directed by the unit manager
