• The unit cares for high-risk OB and a culturally diverse patient population.
• RNs circulate on cesarean sections.
• Travelers float first within their scope to meet facility needs.
• Weekend coverage is required to meet staffing needs.
• Average daily census is 15–20, with 20 visits per day.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NRP
• NIHSS
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Pending license is not accepted

Required Certifications

• ACLS
• EFM
• IV Certification
• CPI
• MAB
• Chemotherapy certification

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID
• Social Security card, as applicable for I-9

• Education verification
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check
• HHS/OIG check
• Employment application with at least the last 5 years of employment
• Skills checklist
• Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask
• Tdap within 10 years
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, flu, COVID, and drug screening documentation
• Respiratory safety clearance
• Floating policy acknowledgment
• Annual regulatory modules and specialty-specific modules, as applicable
