Electrophysiology Tech

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Salisbury, North Carolina
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 5x8s, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• Adults and geriatrics
• Local candidates accepted

Required Qualifications

• Electrophysiology Technician with 2 years of experience
• Electrophysiology Technician experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ARRT or RCIS
• Interventional Radiology Technologist experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to perform EKG lead placement
• ARRT Advanced Cert, RCES, or RCIS with med experience

Schedule and Coverage

• 7 call days per month minimum
• Every third weekend required
• No float requirement
• No holiday RTO allowed

Unit Details

• Combo lab with IR, cardiology, vascular, and EP
• IR is the primary focus
• Assist providers during diagnostic and interventional radiology and cardiology procedures
• Medication administration is performed by RN only

Orientation and Training

• 40 hours of unit orientation
• Starts directly on the unit on Mondays until Dimensions training is completed

• GE MAC Lab
• Philips iFR/IVUS
• Canon and GE labs
• Angio Jet, Penumbra, EKOS, Inari, CSI Atherectomy System
• Bovi System, Plasma Blade Cutter, Radiofrequency Ablation Unit, Venous Closure Unit
• Sono Site, S2000 Ultrasound Unit
• IABP, Impella
