Job Overview

• Location: San Leandro, California
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours
• Hours per week: 36
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Schedule notes: No on-call; every other weekend; must be available to float as needed; expected to work 2 of 3 major upcoming holidays

Required Qualifications

• Valid California RN license
• 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience
• Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association
• PALS issued by the American Heart Association
• TNCC
• NIH Stroke Certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN preferred

• EPLS/GSA/SAM check
• HHS/OIG check
• Physical exam
• Fit mask testing

• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• TB questionnaire
• Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation
• Hepatitis B immunity documentation or declination
• Drug screening
• Medical and employee information release form
• Flu vaccination or declination documentation
• Color blind exam
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
• Facility competencies and new employee orientation modules
