Job Overview

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maine
• ED - Emergency Department (3 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Compliance / Onboarding Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID
• Background check
• EPLS/GSA/SAM screening
• HHS/OIG screening
• Competency exam
• Medication/pharmacology competency exam, as applicable by profession
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• Flu vaccination during flu season
• Tetanus/diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years of start, preferred
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity documentation or vaccination records
• 10-panel drug screen within 1 year of start
• 2 professional references within 2 years of start

• Housing should be available; may be easier to find for female candidates than male candidates, but not impossible
